Bat Mitzvah Daniella Basis is an avid volleybal player. For her bat mitzvah chessed project she chose to provide the speical needs children at Ezer Mizion's Beit Chana Activity Clubs with 35 volleyballs, rallying friends and family for their support of this undertaking. Bar Mitzvah Michael and Monique Saka came to Israel to celebrate the bar mitzvah of their son Sammi together with their family. Part of their itinerary was to prepare sandwiches at Ezer Mizion for distribution in hospitals in Jerusalem. |

Hands-on Chessed Visit A group of 16 -18 year old students visiting Israel with NCSY's Summer Program are spending time volunteering at chessed organizations. The "Give" group, led by madricha Riva Preil, wholeheartedly prepared delicious sandwiches and packaged cakes for distribution in Jerusalem Hospitals. |

Chessed Expedition Michael Drucker , Director of Jewish Life Program of Emanuel College in London, came to Beitar Ilit for a chessed expedition with 40 enthusiastic students. One of their stops was Ezer Mizion's Beitar branch. After hearing about Ezer Mizion's wide range of services and chessed activities, they left baby clothing and toys to be distributed to needy families. |

Working with Special Needs Children Yefei Nof, a popular summer tour for post-high school girls, put a stop at Ezer Mizion on their schedule. A group of 24 enthusiastic young ladies did one-on-one artwork with the special needs children at Beit Chana Activity Clubs and were blown away by the scope of Ezer Mizion's activities. The girls brought with them an atmosphere of joy and vitality, dancing and singing with the children. They were also treated to a surprise address by Chananya Chollak, Founder and International Chairman, who shared touching personal stories that left the girls inspired. |

Bat Mitzvah Theodore and Lorri Bernstein came to Israel from the USA with their close friends and family to celebrate the bat mitzvah of their daughter Abrianna. They planned an inspiring experience she would remember for the rest of her life to mark this milestone. They invited 30 children from Emunah Bet Elazraki Children's Home in Netanya, a home for children from dysfunctional families, and bussed them in to Jerusalem to join the festivities. They topped off the day at Ezer Mizion, preparing nutritious sandwiches and cakes for distribution in the emergency room at Hadassah Hospital. |

Hands-on Chessed Visit Aish's Jewel Kiruv group, under the direction of Sarah Berzansky and program coordinator Devoiry Miller, came to Israel with a group of 30 young adults from all parts of the world. As part of their first-time exposure to authentic Judaism, Ezer Mizion was a must on their itinerary. The girls enjoyed hands-on chessed, preparing food for distribution in Jerusalem hospitals. The experience left them inspired and impressed. |
