Ezer Mizion hires and trains caregivers to provide warm and attentive individual care to elderly and infirm people who cannot function on their own. Caregivers receive ongoing instruction and guidance from Ezer Mizion social workers and program directors.

Under the Long-Term Care Insurance Law, Israel's National Insurance Institute (NII) pays for the services of professional caregivers for elderly people who meet certain eligibility requirements. Ezer Mizion is a recognized provider of home care, and pairs elderly and infirm individuals with appropriate caregivers.

2000 individuals currently benefit from Ezer Mizion's Home Care program, which employs 1600 caregivers.
